FlatOut Sweden was founded by Patrik Sandell, whose journey in motorsport began in the snowy landscapes of northern Sweden. Growing up surrounded by long winters and challenging driving conditions, Patrik developed both his passion for driving and his instinct for precision at an early age.

His talent quickly propelled him onto the international stage, and in 2006 he captured the Junior World Rally Championship title—an achievement that launched a career competing across the globe at the highest levels of motorsport. Over the course of 14 years as a professional driver, Patrik made more than 50 starts in the World Rally Championship, racing in multiple categories and finishing his rally career in the sport’s top class.

Following his time in rally, Patrik moved to Rallycross in North America, where he competed as a factory driver for Ford Motor Company and Subaru. Throughout his career, he not only represented world-class automotive brands but also built lasting relationships with partners and sponsors—often creating unique driving experiences that brought them closer to the sport.

During these years, what started as a small side project gradually evolved into FlatOut Sweden. While Patrik was competing internationally, he began designing exclusive driving experiences for automotive manufacturers, tire brands, and global corporations. His professional career and passion for creating unforgettable automotive experiences grew side by side.
